OTS is a young, modern and dynamic Legal 500 law firm based in City offices and is looking to recruit a Legal Practice Manager. OTS is a forward thinking law firm which respects the contribution of all members of staff. The ideal candidate will have a depth understanding of legal practice, significant experience and capable of dealing with a range of matters. The position carries the following responsibilities:

Day-to-day office management
SRA compliance & regulatory matters
SAR Compliance and accounts/audit matters
Staff recruitment and appraisals
Monitoring KPIs of teams and billing performance
Producing and implementing company's rules and policies
Promoting the company and communicating its services
Liaising with external regulators, accountants and auditors
Working with IT and other third part contractors
Liaising with building management
Working with marketing team

The right candidate should possess the following qualities and experience:

At least 3 years experience managing a small or medium law firm
Strong organisational and communication skills
Strong desire to play a constructive role in the expansion of a modern law firm
inspirational and enthusiastic
Highly dedicated and motivated

You must have excellent people management skills and first class negotiation skills, and the ability to balance day to day operational tasks with longer term strategic objectives. You will be performance driven, proactive, and have a commercial approach. You will be a strong team player and be able to motivate and inspire others. The Practice Manager will report to two partners and management, and will ensure excellent client service is delivered to clients and other stakeholders.
