Chris has a strong background in both immigration and family law, as well as in cases which feature in both jurisdictions. Chris has significant experience representing clients in appeals before the Asylum & immigration Tribunal, both in the First-Tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal. He also is also experienced in judicial review in challenging Home Office decisions in the Upper Tribunal and the Administrative Court. Chris is the co-author of chapter 17 (Removal and other Expulsion) of the supplement to the 10th edition of Macdonald’s immigration Law & Practice. Chris specialises in Article 8 ECHR claims, and immigration and Asylum claims that involve a strong argument in respect of family life. Chris is also developing a practice in business immigration.
