Hello. I am from Romania. I came in UK in 2012. In 2018 I have got the permanent residence for me , my husband and my sons . I want to apply for citizenship for me and the boys . My husband had settled status and I would like to know if I can apply for citizenship for me at the same time as the boys(11 years old and 17 years old) or do I have to apply for settled status first and wait another year to apply for citizenship. I can not find the first passport for my youngest son , the passport which he came with in UK. Is there going to be any problem if I will not send it? Thank you.

Thank you for your enquiry. You can apply for citizenship and rely on the date you obtained permanent residence in the UK. You need to submit the permanent residence card and ensure you submit the application before December 2020. You also need to meet other requirements such as life in the UK test and the English test.
