Hi, I am EEA citizen living in the Uk, applying for Uk citizenship. I already have a permanent residence card, issued in November 2015. Do I still need to provide proof that I have been living here on a permanent basis, state all the absences etc.? (I already provided all the docs when I applied for PR). Thanks for your help

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your enquiry.

The requirements under the European Regulations regarding absences are standalone to UK domestic legislation.  This means that you would have to comply with the requirements of British nationality rules which also include stating your absences for the past 5 years.  We would be happy to assist you should you require our service in this matter.
