Hi, I currently have Indefinite Leave to remain and have had it for 3 years since 2017. I have also held various discretionary leave visas from 2013. The challenge I am facing is that at the time of my application for ILR the application was made late and meant that my visa has run out for a few weeks before the application was received by the Home Office. The Naturalisation guidelines say that "You must have been physically present in England, on the day 5 years before the application is received by the Home Office" so because my visa expired, does that mean that I will have to wait 5 years from the time my ILR application was received by the home office before applying for Naturalisation?
