I am an American traveling in Europe (also have a French long stay visa). I come & go from the UK quite a bit because I like it and there is a lot to do/see (I generally stay for anywhere from 4 days to a month). I understand how that is frowned upon. On my last entry yesterday, she stamped my passport with only 1 week. The agent said she doesn't believe I'm not working here. I work full time teaching online for a US university, a job I have had for 15years. I provided the agent with my work ID, an investment statement, 4 credit cards, and my health insurance cards to prove I support myself and have my own healthcare. I don't know what else to do. This feels punitive. I know I can stay 6 months, but now only 1 week because they don't believe I can support myself. Do I have any recourse?
