I am a U.K. passport holder currently living in Myanmar, where I have been for nearly 5 years. I have been together with my Burmese partner for 4 of those years. Prior to Myanmar, I was in Italy (for 16 years) and now I would like to return there, before Brexit (possibly) makes it impossible. I have an Italian identity card and codice fiscale (tax number) but not citizenship. Do you have any European Immigration experts who could advise me on this complicated situation?
Areas of Expertise:
Sir, your query raises complex migration issues which best suit in depth discussion. As you have correctly pointed out, an Italian ID card does not confirm Italian citizenship. Our European law specialists at OTS Solicitors can deal with your query and will be in touch with you shortly in order to help you ascertain the possibility of you returning to Italy post Brexit.
