My brother and his family would like to visit me and my other 2 siblings for few weeks in June during their kids summer holidays from India. Do we sponsor them? If I sponsor do I need supporting letters from my siblings? I and my siblings are British nationals, working full time, pay taxes and have assets. My brother and his wife have their own businesses in India & have considerable assets and savings and will not have any recourse to public funds. Will I need to instruct lawyers to prepare the sponsorship? Thanks & regards

Public Answer:

Dear Sir,

Many thanks for your Immigration enquiry.

There are several requirements the applicant is required to fulfil for the visit visa application. It is important to show that the applicant has enough funds to finance his stay in the UK, without recourse to public funds. It is also imperative to evidence the applicant’s ties to his home country when applying for a visit visa.

Our immigration solicitors will contact you shortly to discuss your matter further.
