In a generally harmonious HMO with 5 rooms, we have one very troublesome person in one of the rooms.almost every one in the house has complaints against this person and he apparently does not get on with any one in the house either. He had moved in last September with a one year contract. The landlord requires the room occupied by this person for his son, when the contract expires later this year.Normally the landlord has to give a 3 months notice to say that he does not intend to renew the contract but due to the covid virus, I believe, the minimum notice is 6 moths. Are there any other important steps that the landlord must take in order to have a smooth removal of this person from the house, once his one year contract is completed? Thank you for your time.Ken
