Hello, and Thank You In Advanceim From Slovakiaive Been Living In London For The Past 18 Years
Hello, and thank you in advance.I'm from Slovakia.I've been living in London for the past 18 years, married to a Brit for 17.I've obtained ILR based on that.I'm still married, and I'm a housewife with 3 children under the age of 16.Is the right to stay still valid after the Brexit, or will I have to reapply? Also, I have received a ILR stamp in my old passport which I submitted when I've applied for a new one last year. Thanks againKind Regards

Public Answer
Thank you for your question.
As Slovakia is part of the European Union, as a Slovakian you have a right to be in the UK if you are exercising your Treaty rights. To demonstrate that you are exercising those rights you must be:
-employed
-self-employed
-a student
-a self-sufficient person (the category you are likely to fall under)
To be eligible for EU permanent residence as a self-sufficient person or a student you must have Comprehensive Sickness Insurance and it is likely you will need to show that you have had this for five years. This is important, as you need an EU permanent residence Card to apply for British Citizenship.
We need further information about your ILR status. Someone from our office will be in touch with you shortly.
