Hi Dear Sir Madami Was Wondering If You Can Advise Me My Immigration Stataus I Have 10 Year Route

Hi Dear Sir/ MadamI was wondering if you can advise me on my immigration stataus. I have a 10 year route visa based on my private life as my husband is a British citizen. I'm due to renew my visa for another 2.5 year. As I meet all the requirements for 5 year rout (our wages is higher than the requested one, I have ielts 7 and Master degree from one of uk universities, private property and I'm also pregnant)Is there any possibility that after the second 2.5 year that makes it 5 years I apply for my indefinite.

Public Answer

Thank you for your question.
An applicant under the 10-year partner, parent or private life routes may be able to qualify for settlement (Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR)) after they have completed a continuous period of 120 months with leave under that route. They may, however, be able to qualify for settlement more quickly if they subsequently make a valid application for, and qualify for, the 5-year partner or 5-year parent route under Appendix FM.
However, if you meet the income threshold and English language requirements for a UK spouse visa, you may be able to switch to this, although you would have to wait five years to apply for ILR.
