I am a UK/Italy dual national, married to an Italian national with two minor daughters (UK/Italy dual nationals - UK schooled). We have been living in London since 2004. My wife never applied for any residence card as it was unnecessary. She has been the main carer for our daughters; after Brexit we fear about her not being able to continue to live in the UK. As a homemaker, she has always been supported by my income, so it is unclear what documents we can produce to prove her residence rights. We hear stories of ILR applications rejected due to lack of private medical insurance. She has been covered by my own private medical insurance as a dependant for most of the last 13 years, but with some recent "holes" due to my changing employment situation.What shall we do? Can you assist?
