Hi, I have a quick question regarding when the correct time is to apply for British citizenship. My wife’s ILR spouse/partner visa is valid until 14 August 2021. We have been on the 5-year route and she is now eligible to apply for citizenship. However, we are unsure of when we need to put in an application. On the government website it clearly states that if you apply too early then your application can be discounted but it does not provide a timeframe of when you should apply in relation to your visa expiring. Should she apply now or in July or once her ILR visa is finished? Thanks
