Hi, I'm a Spanish citizen living in UK for 20 years. The only thing left to do before submitting my application for UK citizenship is to get 2 referees. My partner's brother has offered to be one of them. My partner lives with me and we have a child together but we are not married. Is his brother a valid referee or will he be considered a relative and, therefore, not valid?
