When can I switch from a marriage visitor visa to a spouse visa?

My wife has a marriage visitor visa , we got married in the UK. She is in Germany and i have a settled status. Do we have to wait for the marriage visitor visa to expire before we can apply for a spouse visa? And can we apply it from within the UK or does my wife has to do it from Germany? Thank you very much

You may not need to wait until the expiry of the current grant of leave. If you are already married and can provide the marriage certificate and if you both meet the relevant requirements, you should be able to apply for a spouse visa. For more information, please call 02039599123 or click here
