Manvir Uppal

Solicitor

Manvir joined OTS Solicitors in November 2025 and is a dedicated Solicitor within the Immigration Department. She brings over a decade of specialist experience in UK immigration law, having first entered the field after graduating from the University of Hertfordshire with an LLB (Hons) in 2015.

She began her career as a paralegal focusing exclusively on immigration matters before completing the Legal Practice Course in 2018. Manvir went on to secure a training contract and qualified as a Solicitor in March 2021.

At OTS Solicitors, Manvir assists clients in securing their right to reside in the UK, offering expert guidance across a wide spectrum of immigration matters. She has significant experience representing vulnerable individuals, including detained clients, victims of trafficking, and survivors of torture, and supporting clients through the asylum process from initial applications to tribunal appeals. Her practice also extends to complex family and human rights cases, entry clearance applications, and judicial review challenges.

Manvir is known for her meticulous preparation of applications, from completing detailed forms to drafting persuasive legal representations that address all Home Office requirements. She provides each client with a compassionate, strategic, and tailored service, ensuring they feel supported throughout what can often be an overwhelming process.
