Can I ask for discretion for pandemic-related absences?

Hi, if I went above the 450+30 days limit over the 5 years (507 days), due to longer stays outside the UK for COVID-19 in 2020, can I still apply and ask for discretion due to covid? Is there an area in the application where this ask should be made? Any supporting documents required? Thanks

You can request for discretion to applied due to absences as a result of the pandemic. There is extensive caseworker guidance on this however you may wish to make efforts to include as much evidence as possible such as cancelled flights, national lockdown periods and other obstacles affecting your return.
