Hi, I Have Recently Just Moved Out Of My Old Rented Room I Had Signed Short Assured Tenancy
Hi, I have recently just moved out of my old rented room. I had signed an short assured tenancy agreement (after 2017) and had wanted to end the lease early. I emailed the landlord asking to leave the lease early (at this time I wasn’t aware this type of tenancy agreement was outdated). My landlord denied. I did my own research and 6 days later notified the landlord about the change in legislature and gave my 28 days notice. I’m wondering if there is a possibility to make a claim for these extra days. In addition to these extra days that I have had to pay for I would have also have left the tenancy earlier if I had of known this. If so could you please get back to me with a quote
