Hi, I've had a fixed (assured) tenancy agreement of 2 years beginning 30/9/19. I recently used the break clause to end the tenancy agreement and move out early after my house mate lost his job to Covid becoming difficult to live with. After agreeing the terms of leaving and agreeing to pay the last month's rent in November, my housemate's behaviour quickly escalated becoming intimidating and using blackmail to demand my keys back as well as using other threatening and generally emotionally abusive behaviour. This caused me to leave a week later despite the current climate and have since had an emotional breakdown with PTSD as well as 3 weeks off work. Could you advise whether I am still obliged to pay the last month's rent as I agreed to before this?
