I Am Masters Student Who Completed Undergraduate Degree In The Uk I Have Been In The Uk For The Past

  • Posted on

I am a Masters student who completed an Undergraduate degree in the UK. I have been in the UK for the past 9-10 years on student visas. My visa extension for the new masters was applied before my old undergraduate visa expired and I applied from within the UK (tier 4 general). The extension is still being processed due to delays. I got offered a tier 2 sponsored job and would like to start as soon as possible. Can I withdraw from my Master’s and proceed to change to a tier 2 visa (i.e. wait until extension is sorted then apply to switch, or apply to switch before the decision making process)? If not, what other options exist (i.e. taking up this tier 2 job and switching masters into part time?
