There is a continuous residence requirement for Citizenship applications in the UK which includes not being absent from the UK for more than 90 days in the last 12 month period.

There are exceptions in place due to the pandemic and discretion may be applied in circumstances where the applicant has been unable to return to the UK due to travel and/or immigration restrictions.
