My landlord and his sister own about 100 properties on a private site in Grantham. I pay £850 pcm and I have lived here 5yrs+. During a "goodbye" conversation with my next door neighbours it transpires they have been paying £100 pcm less for an identical property. They moved in a few months before me and their plot is far superior in terms of plot size layout and elevation. It would seem no one else on the development pays over 750 for similar property.Addionally, there are aloso no similar properties in Grantham at that price ever. The market price is 700-750. I moved from Surrey where I was paying £1800 pcm and I feel I have been exploited and a victim of opportunism. I want to pursue the landlord for a repayment of the extra rent paid. I feel I should be paying a fair mrkt rent
