What do I do if I cannot meet the financial requirement for spouse visa?

Hi, I am 21 and a UK citizen, My girlfriend is 19 and an American citizen, we would like to get married and live in the UK. I am in education and working part time therefore do not meet the income requirements. However, Both of my parents have well paying careers and would support us, is there any route that we can take?
