Where can I apply for a family visa from?
My husband is a UK citizen and I am not. We're planning for my permanent move there and migrate this year and apply for a family visa as a spouse. Can I just fly to the UK with a tourist/visitor visa first and switch to family/spouse visa when I get to the UK or do I need to apply for it outside the UK or apply for a different visa to be able to switch to a family/spouse visa? Thank you!

Applicants are not usually permitted to switch to another category while in the UK on a temporary visit visa. You may need to make the application for Entry Clearance from outside of the UK.
