What are the language requirements for Skilled Worker Visa?

We have been granted a Tier 2 sponsors license and have identified an applicant to fill a role within our company. We have also applied for and been granted a defined CoS. Can you advise on the next stage, particularly with regard to the language requirements for a skilled worker.

For Skilled Worker applications, the applicant would need to pass level B1 in reading, writing, speaking and understanding irrespective of the job role.
