Thank you for your enquiry. The employer will inform the Home Office about the termination of your job which means that you and your dependent will need to leave the UK so that you do not overstay. In relation to your wife, we would need to review her contract of Employment in relation to maternity pay but she needs to inform them as she will not have leave in the UK once her visa is curtailed. Dismissal with immediate effect can be justified by employers only if an employee committed a gross misconduct. Gross misconduct can be for example theft. We do not know the reasons of your dismissal at present and we would recommend holding a consultation to advice on your case.

I am a former client and I believe my lawyer, Hans Sok Appadu, did a fantastic job with helping me acquire my visa in a timely manner, a feat which I deemed to be impossible considering the pandemic. From the bottom of my heart I am so grateful for his services and for OTS solicitors.
Case Workers: Hans Sok Appadu
I've always come back to OTS, after having first met Teni when she supported my case over ten years ago, and Hans more recently.
Always professional, calm, helpful and friendly. Extremely knowledgeable about UK Immigration, and supported my complex case. Would highly recommend!
