Your Questions and our answers about UK Business Visa Solicitors

Thank you for your enquiry.

The cost of the sponsorship licence will depend on the size of the business.  If you are looking to sponsor candidates for employment, you would need to issue a valid CoS to the new employee. You may be able to apply for a defined CoS where you have already selected people to fill the positions or an undefined CoS which provides greater flexibility. We would recommend that you get in touch for more information and visit our sponsorship licence pages. Please contact us on 02039599123 or click here

Thank you for your enquiry. If you employer has only applied this week, you must note that it can take anywhere between 4 – 8 weeks for a decision to be made. As well as that, you must ensure that you are assigned the appropriate COS and apply for a Tier 2 visa before your Tier 4 visa expires. If you do not think that this can be done before the expiry of your visa, you may wish to return to your home country and make your Tier 2 visa application from there, so as to ensure that you do not risk your Immigration status in the UK. Please feel free to get in touch or book a consultation for further information.

Thank you for your enquiry.

The Home Office advises that you must inform them when you divorce or separate from your partner if your visa is based on your relationship (this includes PBS dependants). Once this is done, an individual must then either apply for a new visa or leave the UK. It may be worth exploring if there are any other visa categories available to you. I hope that you have found this helpful, please feel free to get in touch or book a consultation for further information.

We require further information in order to advise you on the appropriate visa application process. However, from the information you have provided, if your employer has an existing Sponsorship Licence, you can be issued with a certificate of sponsorship to come to the UK as a Tier 2 General migrant. The application will need to be made from the US, due to your current visa status.
